Manager, Facilities & Administrative Services

Job SummaryYou will involve in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations. Areas of responsibility include: building maintenance; cleaning; catering and vending; health and safety; procurement and contract management; security; space management; utilities and communications infrastructure.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Managing all facilities related contracts and vendors;
  • Resolving employee facility/office services issues;
  • Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources in the office, or reorganizing current premises;
  • Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility;
  • Supervising support staff to ensure that they can work efficiently. After allocating work assignments and issuing deadlines, he/she oversees the work to ensure that it is proceeding on schedule and meeting established quality standards;
  • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement;
  • Managing and training employees in the general maintenance of buildings; infrastructures; equipment; administrative, IT and health and safety areas and etcetera. 
  • Responsible for Health & Safety requirements such as fire suppression equipment, emergency evacuation plans and business continuity planning;
  • Planning and preparing monthly reports pertaining to finance required for maintaining office infrastructure and facilities;
  • Budgeting and cost control measures, monitoring budget vis a vis variance.
